About the Director

Dale Eggebraaten is the Director of the Career and Technical Education Institute at the International Center for Leadership in Education.

Joining the International Center in 1990, Dale has worked as Senior Associate and Vice President. Responsibilities included managing the Curriculum Matrix Project which crosswalked state standards/benchmarks/grade level expectations to state assessments and the International Center’s National Survey of Essential Skills. The project further crosswalked to Career and Technical Education programs using the 16 Career Clusters from the US Department of Education.

Dale came to the International Center with teaching experience from Alfred Agricultural and Technical College (NY), Dakota State University (SD), and Capitol University Center (SD). Other professional experiences include New York State Education Department, Division of Occupational Education, Department of Education and Cultural Affairs, Division of Workforce and Career Preparation – South Dakota, and a School Board Member.
